I continue to get a "point back to see content" message. What am I doing wrong or what am I missing?
The point back message in general indicates a tracking issue. In this case maybe you do not point to the image correctly or the image is not good enough.
@hp7kDJvSSw.LI could you please let me know what you are scanning?
This is still happening to me on an iPad. Was going to showcase this to a major accountancy firm but if it's unreliable then it's no use to any one.
this is a recurring issue. i'm experiencing it on my htc one.
seems that clearing the data and restarting layar solves the issue however this is a very inconvenient fix that i'm not sure our end users would think to try.
Also having this issue when scanning print/magazine content using a Sony Xperia Z1
For Android, follow these steps on your phone or tablet:
1. click on the Setting icon
2. Click on the option for Apps
3. From the list of Apps on your device, click on Layar
4, Click on the Clear data button.
That worked for us on an HTC One running Android 4.2.2
UPDATE: Make sure you are logged in on your device, wait for a couple of hours and try again. I did this and it worked. I suspect it takes a while for your files to update at their end?
I am scanning my keyboard which i added as a Layar picture. Seemed good fun that everyone who would scan their keyboard would see our art gallery. It does find our Logo and page apparently. Is it forbidden maybe? I think i had a good idea ;)
I have the same message too, don't understand it...
What is 'Point back to see content'?
Same here. I'm scanning magazine spreads. Using an HTC One S.
Can you please let me know what you are scanning? What is your device?
